INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Large Yellow Onions
  • 2 Bunches Green Onion
  • 1Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Block Cream Cheese
  • 1 Block Garlic Herb Boursin
  • 2Tbsp Sugar
  • 5-6 Dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonaise
  • 3Tbsp Butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. Begin by slicing your onions into 1/4” thick slices then throw into a pan with butter and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramelized. This process can take up to 1 hour or more to properly caramelize the onions
  2. Once the onions are caramelized, remove from the pan and give them a rough chop. Return to pan, keeping over low heat and add in your sugar, mixing well. This will create almost a jammy texture to the onions.
  3. Add in your garlic and Worcestershire Sauce, mixing well and cooking for approximately 1 minute. Then add in the cream cheese and Boursin cheese, stirring until melted and fully combined.
  4. Remove from heat and dump onion mixture into a large bowl. Add in the sour cream, mayonnaise, and thinly sliced green onions. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Pour mixture into an airtight container and store in the fridge overnight for best results then serve it up with your favorite chips!
